This tour of the monastery allows you to explore the various aspects of monastic life in Uden. You begin at the Krona Museum and the Abdij Maria Refugie. The route takes you past Saint Peter’s Chair of Antioch Church, a former monastery in the Saint John’s institution, the Kruisherenkapel and Saint Paul’s church.

Sint-Petrus' Stoel van Antiochiëkerk
The first church was built around 1300. On Sunday, April 4, 1886, disaster struck.

For more than 250 years, the Knights of the Holy Cross have helped shape secondary education in Uden.
School Building and Boarding School
Due to the influx of students, a new building was constructed across the street from the old college. In this elongated school building, built in 1921, the Crosiers taught classes and a boarding school was housed.
Het Kruisherenklooster
The first Crusaders settled in Brabant in Sint Agatha and in 's-Hertogenbosch. After the capture of 's-Hertogenbosch by the troops of Frederik Hendrik, all male monks had to leave the city.
Former home of Saint Columba
At the request of Pastor Spierings, the Franciscans of Veghel took over the schools of the Ursulines on July 1, 1909.

The name Paulus church refers to the course on ecclesiastical architecture that was taught at the Kruithuis in Den Bosch starting in 1946.
Former Retreat House in Uden
In 1875, the German priest Arnold Janssen laid the foundation for the Steyler missionary work: he founded the Society of the Divine Word, the Missionary Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit, and the final congregation of Steyl, known as the Servants of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration.
Museum Krona
Museum Krona is part of an ancient abbey complex, partially inhabited by Brigittine sisters. In this unique setting with an herb garden, ancient and contemporary art are connected with each other.
