Museum Krona is located on the outskirts of Uden. It is part of an ancient abbey complex, partially inhabited by Brigittine sisters. In this unique setting with an herb garden, we showcase one of the most beautiful collections of religious art in the Netherlands. In addition to the sisters' manuscripts and the diocese's collection, a cluster of medieval sculptures from the Rijksmuseum was borrowed, which originally belonged to the sisters' art heritage. Museum Krona is a valued place for inspiration, devotion, and tranquility. For young and old.

Herb Garden
Enjoy the tranquility and the variety of over 150 herbs and plants in the beautiful apothecary garden, hidden behind the monastery walls. The herb garden is freely accessible during museum opening hours, even if it's just for a cup of coffee! In museum café De Refter, you can enjoy coffee with pastries, a delicious lunch, or an extensive luxury lunch, with a view of the herb garden. Here you will also find the Krona Shop, with an extensive assortment of postcards, gifts, souvenirs, and books about art, monasteries, and herb gardens.
Group visit
Also for groups, Museum Krona is a very suitable and inspiring activity. Enrich your visit to the museum, for example, with a tour by one of our experienced museum guides. You have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the artist, the artworks, and the exhibitions on display at that time. Expand as desired with coffee, pastries, or (lunch) for a fully catered day out.
