Brabant Monastery Trail takes you past around fifty-five monasteries and abbeys in North Brabant in various stages. The total length of the trail is 330 kilometres, but there are also beautiful trails marked out around various monasteries.

Missionary Convent Heilig Bloed
Among the fields northeast of Aarle-Rixtel lies Missionary Convent Heilig Bloed (holy blood).

Angela's House
From 1970 to 2014, it served as a convent for the Ursulines, providing housing for sisters returning from their missions, and was located in the former rectory, built in 1895.
Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary
The Church of Our Lady of the Presentation is what is known as a “water board church.”
Former Convent of Our Lady of the Visitation and Chapel
The Chapel of Our Lady in ’t Zand was built around 1500 and rebuilt around 1600. During the Reformation, it was converted into a town hall.
Mariëngaarde Chapel
The round chapel was built in 1959 at Huize Mariëngaarde, part of the former Our Lady of the Visitation Convent. This modern chapel has since been repurposed as a medical center.
Castle Croy Aarle-Rixtel

Hooidonk Priory
The Hooidonk Priory stood on the site of the memorial chapel from the mid-12th century onward. It was one of the first monasteries in North Brabant.
Hooydonkse Watermolen
The watermill dates from the mid-19th century. In 1246, the mill was part of the Hooydonk noble women's monastery.
Old Tower
The church in Nederwetten was built in 1442 by the Priory of Hooidonk. It became a Protestant church in 1648, and in the 18th century, the church was used as a town hall. In 1899, the church was demolished. The tower remained standing as a “bell tower.”
Sint Jozefdal and Eckart Castle
The “hof Eykart” was first mentioned in 1312, and in 1695 a castle was built by Jonkheer Carel van Vlierden. Next to the farmhouse were a coach house and an ice cellar.
Mariënhage Monastery
In the Middle Ages, a castle stood on the site of Mariënhage Monastery. In the early fifteenth century, the lord of the castle donated it to five religious men from Eindhoven.
