Converted farm
The beer brewery’s history as a farming business can still be seen in the many rooms. Today, the traditional industrial Brewing Hall and Brewing Room are the distiller’s workplace. The beers are now produced at a different location but are still brewed according to traditional recipes and using surprising ingredients, with no added fragrances, colourings or flavourings. Our in-house draft beer selection, which always has Oijens lager and speciality beers at the ready, quenches the thirst of the guests in the restaurant and on the patio at Oijen. And for the true connoisseurs, there is also a vast selection of home-distilled spirits. The multilingual staff will be more than happy to give you a peek inside the distillery, after which you can enjoy the view of the polder from the veranda, for instance. With a bit of luck, the chef will be tending the hot coals on the barbecue. What’s more, the gastronomic North Brabant cuisine uses as much fresh, local produce as possible, and you can really taste it. The former hay barn now serves as the Tasting Room, while the old drinking troughs in the Hap & Tap remind you of the former cowshed, where you can relax by the wonderful fireplace.
The location has also been expanded to include the Glaslokaal, featuring an indoor play area, De Spelerij. Young and old can enjoy themselves all year round!

As well as the many culinary options, Bierbrouwerij Oijen also offers an incredible range of activities for a great family day out, an enjoyable outing with friends or a corporate team-building event. Join in the fun during the Ontvoering (the Kidnapping), sing along during music bingo, or take on the challenge in ‘99 to Beat’. Immerse yourself in the world of the distillery or enjoy a beer tasting session. The options are almost too many to list, which is probably why a previous visitor concluded: ‘Definitely worth repeating!’

Oijen Beer Brewery is an official Brabants Fietscafé; a Brabant Bicycle Café. In these bicycle cafés, cyclists are made to feel especially welcome! You can stop by for a delicious bite to eat or a refreshing drink, and make use of facilities such as a repair kit, bicycle pump and e-bike charging station.
