  • IJsje eten op Strijp-S in Eindhoven
  • Fifth NRE op NRE terrein in Eindhoven

At the spot where Philips’ final products rolled off the factory assembly line back in the 1990s, you can now dine amid the industrial heritage. Eindhoven shows its most innovative side at Strijp-S and the hospitality venues certainly live up to that. At the Pastry Club, you can descend into the former machine room and be amazed by ‘sweet design’, made mainly with ecological ingredients. Or go the other way and climb up to the rough and ready Radio Royaal. Further along, you can savour the exceptional ice  cream flavours at the candy pink Intelligentia ICE.

The NRE-terrein, on the other side of the city, has a long history as a former gasworks site and has changed shaped several times since its establishment in 1899. It is now the location of several design studios and Fifth NRE, a restaurant where you can enjoy wonderful food, often accompanied by live jazz music, in a stunning industrial setting.
