Discover the tale of North Brabant’s food
Hotel The Yard is known for its luxury overnight stays and delightful culinary treats. The latter is not by chance if you know about the history of the Noordkade. A former industrial centre of one of the largest animal feed mills in Europe, this location has been linked with food for more than a century already. After the mill was closed, the site was transformed into the bustling cultural and culinary centre that it is today. The dynamics of this amazing mix of theatre, art, catering, food halls and creative businesses can be felt throughout the area.
A tip for your visit: pedal through the green surroundings!
This four-star accommodation is in a lovely central location in the province. Cycle from The Yard towards the expansive countryside of the Maashorst or follow the Aa river through the North Brabant landscape. If you would rather experience some culture, the historic centre of ‘s-Hertogenbosch and the tech and design city of Eindhoven can easily be reached on the bicycle. Naturally, en route you can of course stop off at the Van Gogh town of Nuenen or the impressive Heeswijk Castle.
