Unique decor
Don’t be shocked by the boar’s head above the bar. The typical Brabant staff will be more than happy to tell you about the origins of this remarkable head. The entire interior exudes informal hospitality. “It’s like I’ve walked into Grandma’s house,” stated a very enthusiastic review in the guest book. It’s a unique place where you can throw your peanut shells on the floor in the winter.
Discover why numerous large companies from the Kempen region have used In het Wilde Zwijn to provide foreign guests with a genuine experience of Brabant.
Deep in the forest
Surrounded by ancient forests, the Belgian border runs straight through the grounds. It therefore only takes an hour’s walk to get to Postel Abbey. But you don’t even have to leave the inn for a delicious beer, considering the vast selection of special Belgian and Dutch beers. At this characteristic location you can also enjoy the home-brewed ‘zotte zwijnenbier’ or sample the ‘zwijnenzijck’, the house’s herbal bitter. But watch out that you don’t start oinking with joy after a few drinks.
