Walking is more popular than ever. And rightly so! You can discover so many wonderful things on foot. Thanks to our locals, we have made a list of a number of exceptional locations for you: the most beautiful wooden walkways in North Brabant. Winding through the beautiful countryside, they lead you to the most beautiful places in the region. Be inspired!

1. De Moerputten

De Moerputten natural landscape is west of 's-Hertogenbosch. It is a marsh area where they used to extract peat. The blue route - the 'Halve Zolenpad’- runs through the fens, partly via a wooden walkway. This is an exceptional way to experience the area. And if you are here anyway, take a walk over Moerputten Bridge. It is a wonderful example of industrial heritage from the 19th century. There is a floating pontoon at the foot of the bridge from where you can get a good look at the bridge’s famous side view.
