Museums In 's-Hertogenbosch

The Museumkwartier houses two museums

The Museumkwartier (Museum Quarter) is a must when you visit s’-Hertogenbosch. At over 5000 m² it is one of the largest museums in the Netherlands. The Museumkwartier houses two museums, the Noordbrabants Museum and the Design Museum Den Bosch. The Noordbrabants Museum is the place for discovering the wealth of Brabant’s art, culture and history. There is ample attention for the master painters Van Gogh and Bosch. The Design Museum Den Bosch combines a unique collection of ceramics and jewellery, with acclaimed exhibitions of contemporary art and design. Here you will see pieces by artists such as Pablo Picasso and Lucio Fontana. Other museums you can visit in s-Hertogenbosch include Museum Slager with art works from three generations of the Slager family and the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center with reproductions of pieces by Bosch, the Netherlands most significant painter from the Middle Ages.
