Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide

The pecking of a woodpecker, a whinnying little grebe or the rustling of a fox, in Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide (border park) you are surrounded by the sounds of nature. This park on the Dutch-Belgian border is officially a Quiet Area.

Marked footpaths and cycle routes transport you through a varied landscape of heathlands, sand drifts, forest and fens. You may spot a wheatear or wood lark. The starting point for your visit is De Volksabdij Nature Gate in Ossendrecht.
