The village has a welcoming and cozy shopping center with a weekly market with numerous stalls in even weeks. In the summer period, events are often organized on weekends and evenings, varying in flea markets, orchestras and festivals.

Just outside the center is the outdoor swimming pool De Diepsteeckel, a lovely swimming pool for young and old with a large lawn next to it. The field and pool are surrounded by tall trees, providing shade at any time of the day. Ideal for the warm periods of the year. There is a small wading pool and two larger pools with slides and diving boards.
