Eindhoven bustles with innovation and hidden hotspots that not everyone knows of. Those spots are my favourites, because that is where you find those unique experiences that stay with you. My favourite lunch spots
You will regularly find me in the centre of Eindhoven, not only to shop but especially to have a tasty lunch with friends or family. These are my favourite spots:
- At 't Koffiehuisje, you feel at home right away. A cosy espresso bar where you can get breakfast, lunch, fresh juices, homemade cakes and, of course, good coffee.
- Otis is another good spot. Small but beautiful, just as their motto promises. This charming cafe on Kerkstraat is perfect for starting your day or to recharge with a strong cup of coffee.
- For a hearty breakfast (at any time of the day), Meneer De Boer is my favourite. The beautiful building, dating from 1931, on Keizersgracht and the relaxed atmosphere complete the picture.

My favourite vintage shops
Shopping … let’s be honest, sometimes we women simply can’t get enough of it! And if it concerns vintage, Eindhoven is truly a hidden gem. Not only can you score unique items that no one else has, but you can also do something beneficial for the planet. #statementpieces
Three of my favourite gems are at Strijp-S:
- Luna & Lore: small, but oh so lovely! Here you will find a mixture of handmade and vintage clothing, each item carefully selected. Each find is a unique statement, and you immediately feel that fashion and sustainability meet perfectly here.
- Frankie's Favorites is an oasis of coral pink with a rugged industrial vibe. Perfect for those who love vintage and designer pieces. A place where you really linger and fall in love with every single item.
- Vintage Vêtements has hand-picked items that stand out for their quality and character. This means colourful and funky clothing, warm knitwear, silk tops, beautiful embroidery and luxurious leather. Truly a shop where you will always discover something new.
In short, an afternoon spent strolling along Strijp-S is pure bliss for a vintage lover like me. You just know that you will go home with a unique gem!
