The Jetten Mill in Uden is a post mill built in 1811. Both the exterior and interior are original. It is the only authentic mill in the region that still grinds grain for commercial production. Here, malt for jenever and whiskey is ground using traditional methods. Piet Mondrian painted this mill in 1904. The Jetten Mill in Uden is still grinding away!
The mill is open to visitors, and all kinds of baking ingredients are available for purchase—for example, to make delicious Uden mill bread (see photos)!
