Modern experience of the past
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday (10:00-17:00) and offers birthday parties, school visits and other group visits. The museum focuses on times long past. With its augmented reality app, DinohunterBoxtel (which allows you to capture dinosaurs in the village centre!), ‘Boxtel’s gem’ offers a surprising modern experience that fits in perfectly with today’s explorers. The museum also offers fun quests, both on paper and in digital form (oertijdapp.nl).
Shop and museum cafe
The museum shop contains many fossils, mineral jewellery, books and stuffed animals. A cup of coffee or a light snack can be purchased at the museum cafe.
