Joan de Jonge van Zwijnsbergen (1821-1881) lived in Zwijnsbergen Castle that developed from a farming business in the late Middle Ages into a castle in the 18th century. As elder and churchwarden, he was a member of the church council, of which Theodorus was president. His family owned the distinguished country estate until 1905. The entirety consists of a house, a gardener’s house, farm with outhouses, park and an estate alongside.
