Numerous activities
Education and innovation go hand in hand in this welcoming museum where ‘Philips’s heritage’ is presented through various activities. Besides the aforementioned Torchlight Treasure Hunt and Mission Eureka (for families), the museum also organises a play, ‘The Lamp’, and mini lectures on various technical topics. The Museum Kids Factory workshop (for kids from 8 to 12 years) is offered during most school holidays. During this event, there are also all kinds of activities for children from aged four to take part in.

  • The Philips museum will be closed on 25 April and 2 May, 12 May (from 16.00 hours) and 13 May. The museum will also be closed on New Year’s Day (1 January), the Saturday before the Carnival weekend (6 February), Easter Sunday (27 March), King’s Day (27 April) and over the Christmas period (25-26 December).

    On Christmas Eve and on New Year's Eve the museum will be closed from 15.00 hours. On Easter Monday (28 March) and Whit Monday (16 May) the Philips Museum will be open.
