De Biesbosch National Park is one of the few freshwater tidal areas in the world. It is excellent for boating, canoeing, fishing but also cycling, hiking, and horse riding. The new Biesbosch MuseumEiland tells the story of the Biesbosch through seven stimulating themed pavilions and it is a perfect base from which to follow hiking and cycling routes. The MuseumEiland is also the departure point for the Fluistertochten (Whispering Tours) De Biesbosch.
