The Muziekgebouw hosts a wide range of festivals, from chamber music to jazz and beyond, from crossover to percussion to singer-songwriter. There are wonderfully entertaining children's concerts (including pancake concerts!) that will delight kids of all ages. On Thursdays, you can attend an open lunch concert or attend one of our inspiring master classes. The most accessible shows are our Saturday afternoon Blue Note Club Sessions, where you can enjoy beautiful jazz in the Muziekgebouw's Stadsfoyer, free of charge. Or, as one guest put it: “Popped in here for the free afternoon Jazz concert. Great venue. Really nice staff. Fantastic free concert. Couldn't have asked for more on a cold Saturday afternoon! [...] Location is great with plenty of different restaurants in very close location."
Mr. Frits and surrounding area
The grand café/restaurant Mr. Frits is located right next to the Muziekgebouw, where you can enjoy an appetising lunch, a delicious dinner, a friendly drink or a nice cup of coffee. If you're visiting before or after a concert, be sure to try one of the concert menus, which change each month. It's a wonderful addition to your visit to Eindhoven, with fantastic museums, like the Van Abbemuseum, and highly acclaimed events such as GLOW and DDW, whose focus on design, technology and innovation draws visitors from around the world.
