‘vrijZicht’ II is the presentation of the results following a series of pop-up artist-in-residencies at De Stuurhut in Vlissingen during the summer of 2025.
‘vrijZicht’ II is the presentation of the results following a series of pop-up artist-in-residencies at De Stuurhut in Vlissingen during the summer of 2025. Eight totally different artists, but all with the same 'drive' to make use of this opportunity for two weeks to work on projects, further develop ideas, or take a different path in complete freedom and with full scope.
De Stuurhut, a participation project of the Municipality of Vlissingen, is a freely available space for residents of Vlissingen and the surrounding area to come together, but also serves as a location for meetings, as a craft space, or for children's parties. The small building is situated in a unique location, at the boundary of water and land, where the ferry arrives and the train departs, the harbor shrinks, and the city begins. The exhibition vrijZicht III features work by: Mick Jansen, Jorieke Rottier, Toos Nijssen, Andre Smits, Magdeleen van Eersel, Nanda Raemanski, and Stef Fridael.
