Open Monument Day Deurne

On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September, Deurne celebrates Open Monument Day. Throughout the weekend, a variety of historic buildings and special heritage sites across the municipality open their doors to visitors.

Sunday offers even more opportunities to discover their stories. At most participating monuments, someone will be there to welcome you and share fascinating details about the history, architecture and special features of each location.

From windmills and churches to the Castle Ruins, Het Dinghuis and Museum De Wieger, you'll find remarkable historic places throughout the municipality, each with a story of its own.

Prefer to explore by bike? Two special heritage cycling routes of approximately 29 km and over 61 km take you past many of the participating locations while introducing you to the landscape and villages around Deurne.
