Handicrafts through the ages
During Crafts from the Past, skilled creatives from the Stone Age to the early modern period show what they can make by hand. The medieval artisans gather around the market square, showcasing long-forgotten crafts. Don't forget to visit the late medieval craft house: there weaving takes place on the large loom and spinning on the large wheel. Further back in time you will find various people who make clothing or utensils. And are you curious about the preparation of food in the past? Then you shouldn't skip the Stone Age! Every corner of the museum offers a fascinating insight into the past.
