After that, we will regularly delve into the history of the location where we are virtually at that moment, starting with Caesarea, 50 km north of Tel Aviv.

Caesarea was the Roman administrative center of Judea for centuries, 2000 years ago. It is now an impressive archaeological excavation center that we will, of course, explore. From there, we will travel via Haifa to Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee. In Nazareth, we will visit the Basilica of the Annunciation and take a boat trip on the Sea of Galilee, also known as Lake Tiberias. Various sites around the lake, where Jesus once visited, will be explored. Via the Golan Heights, we will head to the citadel in Massada National Park, where Israeli soldiers are sworn in, and then to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. The following days, we will extensively visit Bethlehem and Jerusalem. In Bethlehem, we will take a walking tour through the city center and visit, among other places, the Church of the Nativity. For this part, we were accompanied by a different tour guide since Bethlehem was not accessible to our guide (autonomous territory). From the Mount of Olives, we will have a fantastic view of Jerusalem and visit the walled "Old City", which consists of four quarters: the Christian, the Armenian, the Jewish, and the Muslim quarters. We will walk along the Via Dolorosa (the Way of the Cross) and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Western Wall, the Jewish cemetery, an Arab Souk, and more. And, of course, we visited the impressive Holocaust memorial museum, Yad Vashem. On the penultimate day, we will visit Old Jaffa, the oldest continuously inhabited port city in the world.
