Delicious ode to French gastronomy with Juliette Binoche. The story: It is 1885. The outstanding chef Eugenie has spent the past 20 years working for the famous gourmet and epicurean Dodin Bouffant. Their collaboration results in dishes that become increasingly delectable, baffling even the world's most illustrious chefs. Over the years, a romantic relationship has grown out of their mutual passion for cooking. But Eugenie values her freedom and has never had any desire to marry Dodin. So he decides to do something he has never done before: cook for her.
