Following his successful performance at North Sea Jazz, singer-songwriter Asaf Avidan is coming to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven with his ‘Unfurl’ tour! In 2008, as part of Asaf Avidan & The Mojos, he released ‘Reckoning Song’—a track that, thanks to a remix by Wankelmut, became a number-one hit across Europe. Avidan is best known for his raw, distinctive voice, which is frequently compared to artists such as Robert Plant, Janis Joplin, and Macy Gray. This same voice lends his blend of folk, rock, and blues an immediate—and at times almost elusive—intensity. After a period of intimate solo performances, Asaf Avidan is returning to the stage with a full band for the first time in three years. Expect an intimate show set within a theatrical atmosphere.
