Light creates atmosphere, creates warmth and cold, exposes the hidden, and influences our emotions. Blacklight is a special form of light that makes visible wavelengths normally hidden from us. The artwork is a collection of individual objects and images that forms a total work of art, because the blacklight connects all the elements. In this way, the light also becomes the artist, which, through its interplay with simple and complex forms, both two- and three-dimensional, creates an object that seems to come from another world. Traditionally, the T56 gallery presents a variation on Christmas lights around Christmas and New Year's. The space's large windows transform into a blacklight viewing box, particularly mesmerizing in the dark.
