Pianist Iris Hond brings a new dimension to the iconic sounds of world-renowned composer Ludovico Einaudi, while also performing her own original compositions. The ensemble Kamerata Zuid will present well-known works by pianist-composers such as Alexander Scriabin and Sergei Rachmaninoff. To mark their tenth anniversary, Kamerata Zuid is reviving this highly successful concert tour featuring Iris Hond. Einaudi himself has praised Iris Hond’s exceptional piano playing, describing it as "one of the most beautiful performances of my music"—a sentiment that underscores the unique bond between the two. This full-length classical concert includes a complete performance of Einaudi’s solo work "Domino"—a piece in which Iris’s technical precision and profound passion come together in perfect harmony. It promises an evening of extraordinary intensity, centered on the power of stillness and virtuosic ensemble playing.
