For Eindhoven, a city that bills itself as artistic and innovative, CoMA Eindhoven is a valuable asset. It consists of advanced amateurs who learn a concert program of complex pieces with a limited number of rehearsals. Many of our musicians have extensive experience in the classical repertoire. The fun part of CoMA is the challenge of playing compositions by contemporary composers, something most amateur orchestras do not get around to. In doing so, playing techniques are sometimes employed that are unusual in the classical repertoire.
