More Information

What does freedom actually mean to you? And what does your freedom superhero look like? During a special workshop for children aged 8 and up, we'll explore these questions in a playful way. By drawing, cutting, tearing, pasting, and decorating, everyone will create their own freedom superhero. In the Charlotte Schleiffert exhibition, inspiration will be found by looking at her colorful drawings and paintings together.
Want to join in? Then come to Museum W in Weert on Friday, January 2nd at 11:15 AM. The workshop costs €2.50 for materials. You can reserve a spot via museumw@weert.nl or by phone at 0495 531 920.
Children 18 and under and Museum Card holders have free admission to Museum W. Don't have a Museum Card? Accompanying parents pay the special entrance fee of €6 (normally €8) for the workshop.

Charlotte Schleiffert - When Freedom Fails

More than fifty drawings and paintings by Charlotte Schleiffert are on display in Weert. The exhibition's title comes from one of her artworks and is fitting for our times. Schleiffert's work reveals how fragile our rights are and how quickly we can lose them. With her expressive, contradictory images, she encourages us to reflect on autonomy, power, and responsibility.
