On September 5, Wildpark's new youth production premieres: Anne, 11 years old, says sorry after all (8+) at Pand P in Eindhoven.

Something has happened. Anne has done something that shouldn't have happened. Something bad.

And now she is sitting in the hospital waiting room,
with a helium balloon in her hands that says ‘sorry’ on it.

Being a team with your bestie is the coolest thing there is. Until you grow apart. Until you become disappointed in the other person. Or feel betrayed. Until that bestie suddenly develops a worldview that is radically opposed to yours.

Until one day you get so angry that she does something she couldn't undo. Not on purpose. It just happens.

Anne, 11 years old, says sorry anyway is about friendship, but also about how easily we form an image of someone – and how difficult it is when that image is no longer accurate. How small cracks can grow into a chasm. How you sometimes end up standing opposite each other without knowing exactly why.

A performance taken from real life, about clashes, misunderstandings, and the moments when you no longer know how to come together. About friendship and saying sorry – that it is actually quite difficult.

The role of Anne is played by Anne van der Steen. In addition to the series of Anne performances she creates with Annemiek Nienhuis, she made the documentary *Anne zoekt vrienden* for KRO-NCRV, in which she explores her own search for friendship, and *Anne en de vuilnismannen*.
