2nd evening I bet you'll laugh

A second evening full of humor, laughter, howling, and roaring in De Koekoek.

The evening kicks off with Frans Bevers. This chatterbox, originally from Oirschot, is known for his dry wit. He has a good story and seeks plenty of interaction with the audience, but never offensively. This, combined with his motto, "A day without laughter is a day not lived," promises to be a great start to the evening. The second chatterbox is also a force to be reckoned with: Rob Vermeulen. He was Prince of 't Heidurp in the 2023-2024 season and has also been performing in the barrel for several years. He often performs in Mariahout, and they're thrilled that he'll now be showcasing his skills in Raopersgat as well. Just like the first evening, the second chatterbox evening will be interrupted by a musical performance by Stenzil & Kivits. These gentlemen combine humor and music in a beautiful show.

After the intermission, it's time for the third chatterbox of the evening. This one comes from Hilvarenbeek and goes by the name Peter van der Maas. He's been performing outside his hometown since 2005, drawing humor from the street, work, and newspapers. They're therefore curious about Peerke's performance. The evening concludes with a chat by Iveke van Gerven. She's the winner of the Keiebijters Kletstoernooi in 2025, where she won both the jury and audience awards. She was born into carnival in Esbeek, and because she loved chatting and always had a sharp edge, she took her place in the barrel. This is certainly not without merit, considering the prizes she's won. It's a fitting end to the evening.

The afterparty will then be kicked off by Skwieft. This Brabant party band guarantees fun and enjoyment, so the evening will likely continue for a while. Incidentally, the chatters will be accompanied musically by Alles Kitzz on both the first and second evenings. Advance ticket sales for both evenings begin on Monday, November 17th, at the community center. Tickets will be available for purchase at Jumbo Lieshout and the Lieshout community center starting November 19th.
