Whether she is playing chamber music or performing as a soloist, Jansen is a beloved figure. Camerata Salzburg brings the spontaneity of chamber music to Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto, with its melancholic opening and fairy-tale-like finale, and gives the Reformation Symphony a new brilliance.
