It all began with Ailén and Jie's shared passion for unique crafts and good food. We thought creatively, blending tradition and innovation to host a truly special event during DDW. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to make fresh pasta and craft a personalized kitchen tool by enhancing your ceramics skills. This event is ideal for beginners, food enthusiasts, experimenters, and anyone who enjoys relaxing while creating with their hands. Blending tradition and innovation, from China to Italy and Eindhoven, we’ll guide you to make fresh pasta and help design your own special ceramic tool in collaboration to showcase your creativity.  Hands in Clay, Hands in Dough, this is a one-of-a-kind workshop!

What are we going to do?

A fun, relaxing, sensory-rich workshop to learn how to make fresh semolina pasta and your own personal ceramic ‘rigagnocchi’. A creative experience that turns ancient gestures into modern design, taking a journey through shapes and textures where fresh pasta becomes a piece of art, shaped in innovative forms with a new ceramic tool. 

What will you learn?

How to make fresh semolina pasta, the classic vegan Italian pasta made from scratch, guided by Ailén Gamberoni from Cucina Italiana Eindhoven. How to create your own ceramic kitchen tool, step by step, using basic hand-building techniques to shape your ‘ricagnocchi’ according to your personal preferences. 

What will you take home?

Your own fresh pasta and a handcrafted ceramic ‘rigagnocchi’ to play with every time, experimenting with new shapes and healthy recipes. You develop the skills to make pasta and ceramics, most importantly, creating memories of a fun, relaxing, and unique experience.

Cost: 85 euros per person. The coat includes the VAT, material, pasta recipe, coffee & tea, and kiln firing cost.
