The permanent collection presentation at Museum W has been supplemented with ceramic objects by visual artist Chris Rijk. Rijk combines the tradition of Delft Blue pottery with a contemporary and often provocative visual language. His oeuvre consists of vases, plates, dishes, and other ceramic functional objects. In these artworks, Rijk incorporates themes intertwined with queer identity, popular culture, power relations, and eroticism.
