Ontaard grabs hold of you and doesn't let go. This Utrecht-based quartet weaves spoken word, screams, and a wall of sound into music that speaks to the head, heart, and soul. Shira’s lyrics are feminist and socially conscious, carrying the raw emotions associated with these themes.

EYESORES (MAINSTAGE – OOR STAGE)

You usually want to look away from an eyesore, yet Eyesores remain seared onto your retina. Not because they are beautiful, but because they are abrasive. In much the same way, Eyesores holds up a mirror to you—one you’d rather smash to pieces. This confrontational drive translates into fast-paced garage punk tracks that feel doused in gasoline and set ablaze.

tenderblom (ROOM 8)

tenderblom is the Amsterdam-based musician, producer, and songwriter behind the solo project of the same name. As a guitarist, vocalist, and synth player, he has been active for years with Pip Blom, gaining extensive live experience both at home and abroad. Alongside this, he has steadily developed his skills as a producer and creator of his own music.

Working under his own name, Tender has produced tracks for artists such as Parker Fans, Tom Forever, and Subject Sue, and created remixes for Pip Blom and AIDAN. His solo project is where he unites the various facets of his musicianship: writing, producing, arranging, mixing, and experimenting all converge into a distinctive sound of his own.

tenderblom’s music largely originates in his home studio, where years of tinkering, experimenting, and starting over have resulted in a highly individual style. Influences from artists like JPEGMAFIA and James Blake blend with a background where pop music has always played a central role. The result hovers between experimental electronic productions, distorted sounds, and unexpected details on the one hand, and strong melodies and catchy hooks on the other.

Blom consciously seeks out contrast. Extreme production styles coexist with accessible songwriting, while raw—and at times chaotic—elements blend with a strong melodic sensibility. Somewhere between the experimental spirit of contemporary electronic pop and a classic love for pop song structures, music emerges that constantly aims to surprise without sacrificing accessibility.

For tenderblom, this solo project serves as a space to work outside established boundaries and continually explore just how far a pop song can be stretched—pushing limits, yet always with a great hook in mind.
