Written by Jean-Paul Sartre in 1943, No Exit follows three strangers who find themselves together in a room without doors or windows after death. When they realise that escape is impossible, they are forced to confront their pasts and their true selves under one another’s gaze.
The room gradually becomes a mirror of their hidden fears, regrets and lies. Through their encounters, Sartre raises unsettling questions about freedom, responsibility and the way we see ourselves through the eyes of others.
In this Turkish-language production by Kendi Dilimde, Sartre’s classic play explores the tensions between identity, judgement and human connection.
