Celtic Sparks is following in the footsteps of well-known shows as Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, presenting Irish music and dance in an overwhelming way. It is a grand production, with as many as 12 to 15 dancers and 9 musicians, bringing the audience an unforgettable experience. The full-length show consists entirely of original compositions and choreographies, with a wide range of sounds, from sweet-voiced Celtic ballads to the familiar rumbling sound of the Irish tap dance.

The show has been created by dancer Rosalie Wagenaar, founder of the Rose Irish Dance School and one of the dancers of Rapalje, and musician/composer Tijn Berends. The music will be played by Annemarie de Bie (vocals), Erwin Tuijl (piano), Philip Steenbergen (guitar), Erik de Jong (accordion), Anneke Eijkelboom (violin), Suzanne Berends (bodhrán), Michael Boere (uillean pipes), Annelies Pronk (flute), and, of course, by Tijn himself. The dancers are selected from the top class of the Rose Irish Dance School.
