A Canadian canoe. Two paddles. A waterproof barrel for your stuff. And... off you go.
The river Dommel starts somewhere in Belgium, not far from the border. It enters the Netherlands at Schaft in Brabant and then slowly drops 25 metres to the sea. In other words, the charm of a canoe trip on this water is not braving huge waterfalls, but the smooth journey, meandering through nature reserve De Malpie. You won't find that anywhere else. Along the banks you will see the reeds, fields, heather & cows. Easy going, just like the people of Brabant!
Although... you might get wet along the way.
