With views across the park and the Karpendonkse lake, you’ll forget you are actually in the middle of Eindhoven when you arrive. Combined with that almost proverbial Brabant hospitality, and the fact that the Karpendonkse Hoeve has been honoured with a Michelin star for four decades without a break, a previous enthusiastic guest was inspired to comment: “We had an amazing evening at the Karpendonkse Hoeve.  ‘No nonsense’
The informal no-nonsense ambiance and the more than welcoming staff have been delighting guests for years: “Warm, enthusiastic and anything but stiff . In other words, a top class team and a top class menu.”   Don’t expect and ‘fusion’ or ‘cross pollination’,  but authentic dishes from home and abroad with chef Rob van der Veeken’s own interpretation of ‘nouvelle cuisine’.  Every dish tells its own story, and what could be nicer than to hear ‘how and why’ for each culinary creation that appears on your table? It’s not surprising that the restaurant recently welcomed its one millionth (!) guest.

Accessibility
The Karpendonkse Hoeve is located less than two and a half kilometres from the lively city centre in a beautiful (walking) park by the Karpendonkse Lake. It has plenty of free parking so is perfectly accessible by car. The entire restaurant is also accessible to disabled people.

Lunch and dinner in natural surroundings
The Karpendonkse Hoeve regularly organises themed evenings, such as oyster or asparagus evenings. When the weather is fine you can sit outside on the sunny terrace, maybe for a delicious lunch (from Tuesday to Friday), for the surprising combinations of flavours in the delicious two, three, four, five or even six course dinners (from Monday to Saturday), or for a sultry summer barbecue.
