Family programme
The Museum has a special programme for children and families. Every Saturday, children learn about art in a playful way in the Children's Art Club. Every third Saturday of the month, this club is expanded to a Family Art Club. There are also regular theatre tours, and children can use a DIY booklet to do fun activities during their exploration of the museum. In the summer, families can discover the garden of the museum with the Garden Tour.

Group visits and accessibility
The Van Abbemuseum is accessible for anyone who is curious, whether you are blind or visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing. Even if you are bedridden, the museum will come to you. The Unlimited Van Abbe programme offers monthly activities for various groups, such as people with Alzheimers disease or aphasia. In addition, visitors can also book regular tours, such as an art tour of the exhibitions or an architecture tour.
