This listed building comprises a farmhouse, granary, cart shed and sheep pen. Surrounded by countryside, woodland and wetlands Den Heijkant offers comfort, peace and space. Centrally located between Eindhoven, Breda, ’s-Hertogenbosch and Tilburg it is the ideal base for a city trip, but also parks such as Efteling and Safaripark Beekse Bergen are close by. Or visit La Trappe, the only Trappist brewery in the Netherlands, or nature reserves such as Kampina and the Oisterwijk Woods and Wetlands. Den Heijkant is conveniently located on various walking and cycling routes.
“Wonderful to relax”
The renovation of the cattle shed resulted in two additional luxury apartments. Enjoy breakfast with views of the cows in the tasteful communal room, which also offers views of the surrounding farmland where carrots, beetroot, asparagus and grains are cultivated. The apartments offer every amenity and the luxurious kitchen contains the sort of crockery our grandmother would have used. Each apartment has its own patio, free WiFi, washing machine and dryer and is equipped with every modern convenience. Den Heijkant also offers a two person apartment that is fully equipped for disabled guests.
