Landgoed Julianahoeve is close to the village of Helenaveen between the nature reserves of the Deurnsche Peel and the Mariapeel.

The Julianahoeve was built in 1910 as one of the 11 Koningshoeven (farms supported by funds of the King). It has been actively in use as a dairy farm until 2008 after which it was bought by the government because of nature development plans. Historical and cultural value
In 2016 we, Frederik and Esther, stumbled upon this beautiful place by coincidence. Although the buildings were somewhat dilapidated, the farm is located beautifully at some distance from the road and in the middle of nature. In addition, it has a historical and cultural value and with that we thought it deserved a new life. One year later, we were able to move in and immediately started with the most urgent renovations. At the same time, we started to make plans for some guesthouses and a campsite, to share the place with other people.

Nice wide view
Meantime, the foundations for these plans have been layed out. Last year, in 2021, we welcomed our first guests on the campsite. In the near future, we hope to also finish the guesthouses that we are building in a magnificent old hay barn. The quite mini-campsite lies at the back of the estate and has a nice wide view on the natural surroundings.

The campsite has room for approximately 20 pitches. The toilets and showers are in a new building close to the camping field. The old cowshed has been converted into a cozy place to read a book or play a boardgame in case the weather is not so attractive. We also offer a bread-service in the morning.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, we kindly ask you to keep them on leads.

The campsite is open between April and October.
