The Metropole Orchestra was one of the first European orchestras to bring game music to concert halls. Now, as game music evolves and receives more attention, The Smartphone Orchestra and the Metropole Orchestra are taking it a step further. What happens when we bring not only music but also gameplay to the concert hall? The audience plays a specially designed game, where the achieved scores determine 'The Score': the music performed by the orchestra. The result is a completely new and sometimes hilarious concert experience, where the audience and the orchestra collaborate.
Games in Concert: The Score is made possible in part by Prince Bernhard Cultuurfonds, Creative Industries Fund NL and Cultuurloket DigitALL.
