Last concert afternoon Muziektuin

The Music Garden Stage Foundation is organising the last concert afternoon of the 2023 season in Beek en Donk's Music Garden. This afternoon, four enthusiastic musical groups will again perform alternately on the gazebo and on the small stage near the ParkPavilion.

The programme will be opened by VrijeTijdsOrkest from Deurne. The VTO Deurne is an ambitious orchestra that enjoys playing a varied and contemporary repertoire, so that both listeners and orchestra members enjoy the performances. Under the musical direction of Marco van Dulmen, the approximately thirty-eight musicians are constantly working to broaden the repertoire with swing, popular pieces and concert works.

Then it is the turn of the choir Aurora from Sint-Oedenrode. Founded in 1994, the youth choir has grown over the years into a contemporary 'ladies' pop choir. The choir is led by conductor Erie van der Zanden and accompanied by their regular guitarist Henk van Zutven. In recent years, the choir has regularly been accompanied at performances by pianist Brechje van den Brand.

This was followed by a performance by the Koninklijke Harmonie O&U from Beek en Donk. Unfortunately, the Harmonieorkest O&U could not perform during the postponed Muziektuin concert as part of '25 years of Laarbeek' on 7 May, but were impressively replaced by their own Youth Orchestra. Now it is nevertheless very nice again to have a performance by the widely known Harmonieorkes
