Entrepreneurship is incredibly enjoyable! It's diverse, and no day is the same. It's a way to shape your work in your own way, to determine with whom you collaborate, and when you work. Entrepreneurship provides tremendous freedom. Yet, venturing into business means stepping out of your comfort zone. Letting go of (limiting) beliefs and shedding the certainties you currently have or know from employment, such as fixed working hours, your regular (work) routine, and (part of) your fixed income. Stepping out of your comfort zone means, despite your doubts, figuring out how it can work instead of why it cannot.
Our brains are programmed to avoid risks because we have no control over risks, and that is perceived as danger, something we want to prevent. We quickly assume that entrepreneurship entails significant risk, leading to the immediate decision not to pursue it.…
Entrepreneurship is incredibly enjoyable!
We quickly assume that entrepreneurship entails significant risk, leading to the immediate decision not to pursue it.
However, there's a reason the idea, the desire to start a business, persists in your mind. You feel something is missing in your current situation, you long for something that is not there now, and starting your own business seems like an opportunity to have that. By continually dismissing this idea, not taking it seriously, you only risk regret later!
Entrepreneurship comes in many forms. There is no one way. The workshop is about taking your desire to venture into business seriously. Learning to see that there are more possibilities, discovering what your ideal way of entrepreneurship would look like. And actually exploring your desire and the possibilities before deciding to put entrepreneurship on hold.
During the workshop, I guide you through a methodology to take your desire to start a business seriously and explore it by gradually stepping out of your comfort zone. To eliminate inhibiting thoughts and objections and actually discover whether and how entrepreneurship can work for you.
In the workshop, we take the first steps together, providing you with the tools to continue to make your decision on how to introduce entrepreneurship into your life.
About Pauline van Gorp
Originally, I am an occupational therapist, and currently, I work as a project specialist at a data-driven company, and I am an entrepreneur. I have not followed the conventional path, but I have found a very pleasant mix in all the different things I do. This is what my company Mix-it-Up stands for. I coach people in making choices, breaking patterns, and choosing their path, their own 'ideal mix' in both work and personal life. Entrepreneurship and business ownership play a significant role in this. Actually starting your own business is not for everyone, but entrepreneurship involves many facets related to shaping your life in your way. It is my mission that everyone dreaming of entrepreneurship gives themselves the chance to find out what that dream is truly about, how it fits into their life, and then pursue it!
