On Sunday, 26 June, the 5th edition of the soapbox race takes place in the centre of Lieshout. The race is a true spectacle with the most divergent creations that cover a course from the ramp of no less than 6 metres high. 

The race starts in the Dorpsstraat, near the Thoonen bakery, after which the participants pass a jumping jack and a water tank. The finish is at café de Koekoek. Prizes are awarded in various categories, such as fastest time, most original soapbox and breakdown prize. This happens with both the youth and the adults. The race is commented by Frans van de Hurk, Hans Smits and the three-man jury led by Eric Relou what annually the necessary hilarity. Along the route, various places will provide food and drink. For the youngest youth there is a bouncy castle. During the break of the race there will be a fun intermission act.
