Biography Davey Turnhout: Raised near Leiden, Davey Turnhout is currently an import-Brabander. He draws inspiration from his daily life and experiences. With his boyish appearance and relaxed demeanor, you could almost forget that he has a dark sense of humor. Davey's jokes are sometimes harsh but always delivered with a lot of love. He recently turned thirty, understands little about himself or the world around him, and in the last few years, he's been on stage more often in the evenings than at his girlfriend's home. In a packed De La Mar Theater, Davey Turnhout won the jury prize at the Amsterdam Student Cabaret Festival 2019, and now he's touring the country with his debut. Davey Turnhout is a skilled writer of roasts. At the Dutch Roast Battles in Comedy Café Amsterdam, Davey was crowned 'Roastbaas 2017,' and in a special edition at TivoliVredenburg during the Utrecht International Comedy Festival 2020, he brought the house down in a roast battle against Dave Felida.
