Safe recreation in North Brabant

Being outside, letting the fresh air clear your head and taking in the surroundings. This is possible and permitted in the Netherlands, provided you follow the safety guidelines. On this page you will find tips and inspiration for safe recreation in North Brabant.

Crowd tracker North Brabant natural areas

The crowd tracker shows you which natural areas in Brabant are quiet, and which are too crowded. Check the current situation before you set out, so you can safely enjoy the most beautiful routes in Brabant!

The crowd tracker uses three colour codes:

  • Green: it's quiet, you can come, there is no cause for concern
  • Orange: it's on the busy side, consider going somewhere else
  • Red: it's too crowded, please go to a different location

Please note: this map shows an indication of how crowded it is. The crowd tracker gets its information from nature organisations and visitors.

Despite our joint efforts, we might miss a crowded situation. We are also still adding areas to the map. So always stay alert. If it's hard to keep your distance, go somewhere else.

The crowd tracker is a VisitBrabant initiative in collaboration with the Dutch nature organisations Natuurmonumenten, Staatsbosbeheer and Brabants Landschap.
