In North Brabant, you can enjoy the warmest of welcomes. That’s no surprise, because the people of Brabant and hospitality are inseparable. That’s why the first Brabant Hospitality Award was awarded in 2018. The award was created to celebrate the most welcoming locations of North Brabant. The large group of contenders was narrowed down to 10 nominees and we’d love to introduce these special locations!

Winner 2018: Auberge du Bonheur

Mentioned in the Michelin Guide in both the restaurant category and in the accommodation category, and the proud winner of the Brabant Hospitality Award 2018! At Auberge du Bonheur and the accompanying La Nouvelle Auberge restaurant in Tilburg, you can enjoy excellent sleeping and dining in stunning, natural surroundings with plenty of walking and cycling routes. Recreation park TerSpegelt in Eersel is a five-star family campsite in the middle of the Brabantse Kempen. You can stay here in your own caravan or tent or book a special accommodation! How about a LakeviewLodge, BosVilla (Forest Villa) or a LoungeCabin? There is plenty to do for both young and old “A fantastic holiday... We barely saw our children, aged 11 and 13, around the caravan, there was so much to do,” says a previous guest. The ANWB listed Recreation park TerSpegelt as top campsite of 2019 and this recreation park is the place to be to enjoy a couple of days off (with your family).

This innovative food hall in Eindhoven is just a ten-minute walk away from the station. In de middle of the city centre, 21 food stands create a food festival vibe! All food is of excellent quality. The innovative side of Down Town Gourmet Market also shows in the digital ordering app. A visitor said: “In one word: fantastic! […] The central bar concept is great, too! Instead of having to find out which drinks each place serves, you can simply order from the ‘central drinks menu’ wherever you’re seated.”
