Calling all food lovers; North Brabant is the place for you!

See, taste and enjoy! Anyone who loves good food will feel at home in the province of North Brabant. Vibrant food markets, the best restaurants and culinary hotspots on trendy streets in the middle of the city. Here are our five favourite foodie hotspots.

1. Delicious, trendy food in Tilburg

In the trendy, industrial-chic Spoorzone you can enjoy culinary delights in style. There’s restaurant De Houtloods, where you can sit so close to the kitchen that you can look over the cook's shoulder. De Wagon, a food bar in a train car and the cool restaurant RAW. Bon appetit!

2. Down Town Gourmet Market: “That special food festival feeling."

At the Smalle Haven in Eindhoven you'll find no fewer than 20 food bars under one roof: the Down Town Gourmet Market! From Vietnamese food to seafood and from burgers to delicious ice cream: guests are spoiled for choice. Vegetarian and vegan guests no less so!

3. The best pavement cafés in the Netherlands...

...that's how the terraces on the Korte Putstraat in 's-Hertogenbosch are described by many. With trendy pubs, chic restaurants and traditional Dutch cafés, you'll find something for everyone here. Experience the typical Brabant hospitality at Restaurants Zoetelief, CÔTE bar bistro or Roels. Or come and have a drink while sitting outside and enjoying the view. Plenty of choice!

4. On a culinary journey at Proeffabriek in Veghel

A creative hotspot that has something for everyone: Proeffabriek at CHV Noordkade in Veghel. Proeffabriek (“taste factory”) is a great mix of little shops, stalls and restaurants. From a coffee roaster to a bakery, from a distillery to a delicatessen. You can also take a special audio tour, which will tell you the interesting stories behind Proeffabriek and its location. Tip: this is a great outing in combination with a beer or wine tasting!

5. Global cuisine under one roof in Breda

A wonderful new place to have a drink and socialise with friends! Foodhall Breda opened in April 2019 in an old cinema. You'll find no fewer than 18 mini-restaurants with dishes and drinks from all over the world. Mexican, Japanese, Brazilian, Indonesian, Dutch, and more; they have just about everything here.
