Kampinastaete is located in the heart of the beautiful Oisterwijk's Forest and Fens, surrounded by 80 beautiful pools and at the edge of the extensive Kampina nature reserve. Nestled in the woods, in the middle of the Maashorst, the largest contiguous nature reserve in Brabant, is Charme Camping Hartje Groen. The Maashorst is an ancient primeval area and is home to large grazing animals, an unusual natural phenomenon known as Wijst and beautiful cycling, hiking and riding routes through extensive forests and heathland.

4. DE KAS INN

The Marina Waterfront, Jachthaven Waterkant in Dinteloord, where night really does mean quiet! Wake up at the mouth of the Volkerak, in the heart of the countryside, floating on your own luxury houseboat. Just imagine the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from your own private terrace! 

From the marina, you can explore the body of water that separates Brabant from Zeeland in a sloop. Why not sail along Hollands Diep to the fortress town of Willemstad or along the Mark towards Oudenbosch to admire the impressive Oudenbosch Basilica

7. LANDGOED DE BARENDONK

Want to sample real country life? Then why not visit Landgoed De Barendonk estate in Beers? Situated in the natural environment of Land of Cuijk, this estate is coloured by its rich history. Sleep in the Paardement above the old horse stables or in the cosy Koetshuis, where you can wake in the morning in a real box bed. Larger groups can head to Het Grote Huis or Vlaamse Schuur, two spacious locations that are both accessible to visitors with disabilities. 

There are a number of mapped hiking routes from the estate, plus a gnome trail for younger adventurers! While you’re in the area, a visit to Overloon War Museum or Billybird Park Hemelrijk should also be on your bucket list. A visit to the fortress towns of Grave and Ravenstein is also highly recommended.

8. RECREATIEPARK D’N MASTENDOL

Every child’s dream – at Recreatiepark d’n Mastendol in Rijen, you can spend the night in a tree house! Maybe you’d prefer a luxurious chalet, a cosy hiker’s cabin or your own little house on wheels? Whatever your preference, this family campsite has it all, including spacious camping pitches.

RCN De Flaasbloem in Chaam offers young families the ideal spot for a wonderful family holiday! It’s nestled in the heart of the countryside with a unique combination of woods, water and beach. The park is home to a recreational lake with a nice sandy beach, spacious sunbathing lawn, triple slide and water playground. 

From RCN de Flaasbloem, you can cycle directly into the Chaam Forests, which also include the Ulvenhoutse forests, Alphense Bergen and Generaalsbossen near Alphen. Together, they form a wonderful combination of ancient woodland, marshy grassland, streams and heathland with fens.

11. CENTERPARCS DE KEMPERVENNEN

At CenterParcs De Kempervennen, you will wake to find yourself floating in a real houseboat! Who wouldn’t want to experience something like that? CenterParcs has just about everything – in fact, there’s so much, that you cannot see it all in just a single day.

Daredevils can ride the zip wire, gaming enthusiasts can have fun in Gametown and wintersports enthusiasts can glide down the piste at Montana SnowCenter. Maybe you’re a water rat?
